Probationary members are advised to keep an eye on this section of the website in particular in order to identify when the next dedicated assessment and training sessions are being held. These will be sessions held on a separate day from our usual shoots and with only probationers present in order to provide individual tuition.
Saturday 1st November (Provisional)
The next shoot for new starters and probationary members is provisionally scheduled to be held on Saturday 1st November between 10:00 and 16:00. Only new members and probationers will shoot on this day, allowing us to provide 1:1 training across using a wide range of firearms including:
- Bolt action rimfire rifles
- Bolt action centrefire rifles
- Semi-automatic rimfire rifles
- Falling block rifles
- Under-lever rifles
After attending this induction day, prospective new members can then attend our regular fortnightly shoots as probationary members and shoot under the supervision of full members of the club.
Existing probationary members of the club are also welcome to attend these specific training days.
